Cornerstone Community Well fundraising banquet reservations due Feb. 28

The Cornerstone Community Well fundraising banquet, 'Planting Seeds,” is planned at 5 p.m. March 10.
All attendees must make reservations by Feb. 28 by emailing ccw@lisco.com. Businesses, churches or individuals wishing to sponsor a table for the event can call Carol Meyers at 919-1501; leave a message for a return call. Sponsorships are $100 and $200.
Seating is limited to 160.
Cornerstone Community Well exists to provide practical assistance and life skills training to Jefferson County residents who are in financial crisis. Besides disbursing its own funds, it also disburses Salvation Army funds. Cornerstone Community Well assist applicants in financial crisis irrespective of income.
In existence since July 2017, Cornerstone Community Well has served more than 470 people in 169 households. By Dec. 31, Cornerstone Community Well disbursed $29,269.67 to residents in financial crisis, and two residential fire victims have received over $2,000 through Salvation Army's Disaster funding.
Cornerstone Community Well is a 501(c)(3) organization. All monetary donations are tax deductible as long as nothing is received in return for the donation.
