Cotter High School graduates plan May reunion

COTTER HIGH SCHOOL REUNION
All alumni and friends of Cotter High School graduates are meeting Saturday, May 6 at 11:30 a.m. at the Pizza Ranch in Washington for lunch and a time of reminiscing. If you know of anyone that has ties to or graduated from Cotter, invite them to join in the fun.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Mrs. David (Zola) Zerka observed her 84th birthday, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 and celebrated first when her son, John Winter took her and David to dinner at 22 and Vine at the Riverside Casino and later that day she was greeted by Jolleen Cerka and Tammy Valentine of Ainsworth and several local friends who popped in with Birthday Wishes.
Her grandson and family, Dan and Katie Casper and Joey of Dyersville visited on Friday; and on Saturday, her granddaughter, Bobbie Casper and sons, Charlie, Henry and William Leroy from Mt. Vernon, stopped by; and also her granddaughter, Samantha and Jim Rousen and Brayden from St. Louis visited.
FLORIDA VISIT
Nancy Love visited last week with her father, Bill Oehler in Naples, FL.
CHURCH NEWS
The Crooked Creek Christian Camp is having a Wild Mud Fun Run on May 6. The purpose of Crooked Creek Wild is to raise money for the Summer Camp Fund which will provide funds for families who may not otherwise be able to afford the cost of camp, summer staff stipends and special camp activities.
The camp is also in dire need of male counselors (ages 16 and older). Counselors are the heart of the camp and the ones making the biggest impact on the campers. SPRING RUMMAGE SALE
A last reminder: The Spring Rummage Sale at the United Church of Crawfordsville will be held Thursday, April 27 and Friday, April 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 29 from 8 a.m. to noon. Everything is for a Free-will offering.
