Countrymans celebrating 50th wedding anniversary
Larry and Bette Countryman of Birmingham will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, with an open house reception Sunday.
The couple was married June 22, 1962, in Birmingham. They have two daughters, Lisa Countryman of Columbus, Ga., and Sarah Ledger and husband Greg of Brighton. They also have two grandsons.

Larry and Bette Countryman of Birmingham will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, with an open house reception Sunday.
The couple was married June 22, 1962, in Birmingham. They have two daughters, Lisa Countryman of Columbus, Ga., and Sarah Ledger and husband Greg of Brighton. They also have two grandsons.
Friends and family are invited to the open house reception from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the City Park in Birmingham. In the event of rain, the reception will be at the Birmingham Lions Building.
