Couple announces engagement

Jim and Angie Peiffer of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Kati to Jason Schneider, son of John and Carol of Lone Tree.

Kati is a graduate of Washington High School, received her BA in Family Services from University of Northern Iowa and Masters of Social Work from University of Iowa. Jason is a graduate of Lone Tree High School, received his BS in Animal Science from Iowa State University, Masters of Animal Science from Oklahoma State University and PhD in Monogastric Nutrition from Kansas State University.

The couple reside in Waverly. Kati is a Mental Health Therapist for Unity Point-Black Hawk Grundy Mental Health Center in Waterloo. Jason is a Swine Nutritionist for Reicks View Farms in Lawler.

The couple will be married Nov. 19 in Washington at St. James Catholic Church.
