Couple announces engagement

John and Joan Sojka, of Riverside, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Seth, to Mary Granzow, daughter of Rand and Kem Lehman of Johnston.

Seth is a graduate of Pekin High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in physics from Central College in Pella and a Master of science degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University. He is employed at Nexant Inc. in Des Moines as a senior project engineer.

Mary graduated from Valley High School in West Des Moines and attended Des Moines Area Community College. She is employed as Youth Ministry Administrative Assistant at St. Francis of Assissi Parish in West Des Moines. Mary is also the associate director at ?Iowa?s For Life.?

A wedding is planned at the Basilica of St. John in Des Moines.
