Couple celebrates 50th wedding anniversary
Gene and Jane Zeck, of Washington, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 2. The couple was married at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Waterloo, on September 2, 1967.

Gene and Jane Zeck, of Washington, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 2. The couple was married at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Waterloo, on September 2, 1967.
After starting their life together in Keota, they settled in Gene?s hometown of Washington. While building their life together in Washington, Gene was a lifelong teacher and coach in the Washington Community Schools and Jane worked as a nurse, caring for the elderly and those in need.
They have two children, Ann Zeck Reid and husband Travis of Atlanta and Jim Zeck and wife Jennifer of St. Louis. They have six grandchildren.
