Couple celebrates 55th anniversary
Lee and Karen Schafer of Brighton will celebrate their 55th Wedding Anniversary with a Card Shower. The Schafers were married on June 13, 1960, in Leon. Lee and Karen have farmed in the Brighton area their entire married life and have both been active in numerous clubs and organizations.

Lee and Karen Schafer of Brighton will celebrate their 55th Wedding Anniversary with a Card Shower. The Schafers were married on June 13, 1960, in Leon. Lee and Karen have farmed in the Brighton area their entire married life and have both been active in numerous clubs and organizations.
They are the parents of Deb (Tim) Jesina of North Liberty, and Amy Schafer of Urbandale, plus two grandchildren. They plan on a family camping trip to Lake Darling for their anniversary weekend.
