Couple celebrates anniversary
Dale and Maurine Roberts celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary July 2. Family from Burlington, Ainsworth, Washington, Ames, Ankeny, Urbandale, Tiffin, Adel, Pleasant Hill and Des Moines gathered at a restaurant in Coralville.

Dale and Maurine Roberts celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary July 2. Family from Burlington, Ainsworth, Washington, Ames, Ankeny, Urbandale, Tiffin, Adel, Pleasant Hill and Des Moines gathered at a restaurant in Coralville.
Dale Roberts and Maurine Stephens were married June 24, 1956, at the Ainsworth Methodist Church the week after Dale returned from the Army service in Germany. Maurine had taught fourth grade at Marion Independent School in Marion.
They have four children and spouses, 11 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
