Couple exchange wedding vows

Joel Wenger and Raquel Silva are pleased to announce their recent wedding. They  were married at the Marr Park Conservation Center on Aug. 2, 2014. Joel is the son of Rodney and Janice Wenger of Wayland, and the grandson of Glenn and Phyllis Hershberger of Wellman. He graduated from WACO High School in 2004 and Kirkwood Community College in 2011. He has been employed with MD Orthopaedics since 2006.

Raquel is from the city of Recife, in state of Pernambuco in Brazil. She is the granddaughter of Irene Ferreira. She was a 2010 high school graduate and was most recently employed in sales at Formação Cursos. She is new resident immigrant and is excited about the opportunities that await her in her new life in the United States. Raquel is currently a student at Kirkwood in Washington. The couple resides in Washington.
