Couple plan October wedding

Lindsey Knowler and Benjamin Altenhofen, both of Washington, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Lindsey is the daughter of John and Debbie Knowler of Sigourney. She is a 2010 graduate of Sigourney High School and a 2013 graduate of Buena Vista University. She is employed at Edward Jones Investments in Washington.

Benjamin is the son of Michael and Katrina Altenhofen of Washington. He is a 2008 graduate of Washington High School and a 2012 graduate of Buena Vista University. He is a police officer for the City of Mount Pleasant.

Grandparents of the couple are Mike and Janice Conrad of Sigourney; the late Floyd and Ruth Knowler; Roger and Mary Ellen Altenhofen of Washington; and Bill and Sue Lind of Houghton

The couple will be married on Oct. 18, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington.
