They are the parents of Mark Stout of Phoenix, Arizona, Eric (Karla) Stout of Brighton, Anne (Marlin) Schmidt of Ulysses, Kansas, Carol (Robert) Ross of Green River, Wyoming, Karen (James) Unruh of Clay Center, Kansas, Kathy (Larry) Gugel of Wayland and Sara Uelze of North Liberty. They have 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
