Couple to celebrate 75th anniversary
Norbert and Marie Hammes of Fairfield will be celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary Thursday.
They were married Nov. 28, 1940, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota.
The couple has seven children, 16 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Their children would like to honor them with a card shower. Cards can be sent to Mr. and Mrs. Hammes at 3002 Adams Lane Apt. B, Fairfield 52556.
