Couple to celebrate anniversary
Gary and Karen Murphy of Washington, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple married on Aug. 13, 1966, in Danville.
They are the parents of Derek Murphy (Dorrie) of Bettendorf, Janelle Menzia-Murphy (Jess) of Portland, Oregon, and Matt Murphy (Sylvia) of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
They have seven grandchildren. Gary and Karen are celebrating the special occasion with a small family trip.
