Couple to wed in Algona

Emily Behr and Alex Klopfenstein are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Emily is the daughter of Michael and Julie Behr of Algona. She is a 2008 graduate of Bishop Garrigan High School. She received her bachelor?s degree in public relations and communications from the University of Northern Iowa in 2012. She is employed at Modine Manufacturing in Washington as an inventory specialist.

Alex Klopfenstein is the son of Tim and Barb Klopfenstein of Washington. He is a 2008 graduate of Washington High School. He received his bachelor?s degree in social sciences teaching from the University of Northern Iowa in 2013. He is employed at the Winfield-Mt. Union Community School District as a social studies teacher and athletic coach.

The couple are planning a June 13, 2015, wedding at the St. Cecelia?s Catholic Church in Algona.
