Harold and Lela Miller of Wayland will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with their family on June 6 at the Wayland Community Room in Wayland.
They were united in marriage at the Salem Mennonite Church in Shickley, Neb., on June 10, 1945.

Harold and Lela Miller of Wayland will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with their family on June 6 at the Wayland Community Room in Wayland.
They were united in marriage at the Salem Mennonite Church in Shickley, Neb., on June 10, 1945.
They are the parents of two daughters and two sons, Lila Benedict (deceased in 2002) and son-in-law Tom and Jeanette Benedict of Osceola, Ind., Sheila Fort and husband Kevin of Wayland, Ron Miller and wife Diana of Mount Pleasant, and Jim Miller and wife Jane of Wayland. They have four grandchildren, two step-grandson, and 10 great-grandchildren.
