Couples danced the night away at 4-H Father-Daughter Dance
Feb. 14, 2023 1:31 pm
Ninety-five couples enjoyed in the special “How Sweet It Is Father Daughter Dance” held Saturday night, Feb. 11, hosted by the 4-H County Council in the basement of Dallmeyer Hall.
The event was open to the public for kindergarten-fourth grade girls and the special man in her life. Beautiful young ladies and their fathers, grand fathers, uncles, older brothers, and neighbors, filled the basement of Dallmeyer Hall. The committee was honored to have record breaking attendance at maximum capacity. Each couple posed at the photo booth and were able to take home a framed keepsake photo. This night of special memories included dancing, refreshments, corsages, and fun.
Proceeds from the event will be used in other 4-H hosted events in the coming year.
Many pictures from the How Sweet It Is Father Daughter dance are posted on Facebook at “Washington County 4-H – Iowa.” For more information, on events and special programs for kindergarten-12th grade youth, contact the Washington County Extension Office at 319-653-4811.
4-H County Council invited young ladies and the special men in their lives to attend the How Sweet It Is Father Daughter Dance.
