At the online Parish Council meeting of the United Church of Crawfordsville on Wednesday evening the Parish Council voted to keep worship the same at the present time. This means there will be no worship services inside the church for the time being. Pastor Jason will continue to have service at 10 a.m. on Saturday mornings on Zoom or Facebook. To go to facebook type in Ainsworth Community Church and enjoy the service. Services will be held twice a month outdoors at each church at 10 a.m.
The Councils of both churches feel that with all the Covid-19 going on it still just isn't safe to return to regular services at this time.
Grace Hiller, daughter of Don and Ruchel Hiller celebrated her graduation from WACO High School on Saturday, July 11 at the Crawfordsville American Legion Hall.
Tables were decorated with sunflowers and memorabilia from her years in school and there were pictures of Grace in various stages throughout life. She was radiant as she greeted guests in her beautiful prom dress, since she didn't get to wear to prom
Her Dad's co-workers prepared fresh authentic tacos for the occasion and desserts included strawberry cake with the words,”The Tassel Was Worth the Hassle” written on it and chocolate and white cupcakes decorated as sunflowers and mints, lemonade and iced tea completed the menu.
Guests included family and friends, as well as guests from Carroll, IA and La Porte City and Maquoketa, IA and Elizabethtown, KY.
