Crawfordsville High School to hold final alumni banquet June 14

Crawfordsville Alumni and Friends, 100 years ago, Crawfordsville High School held their First Alumni Banquet. Now, 100 years later they are holding their Final Banquet.
Come join them for a time of sharing school memories on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Pizza Ranch in Washington.

On behalf of other senior citizens and all others who received May Baskets from the Crawfordsville Community Club, it has been reported 45 total, I want to say you are a very special group and go above and beyond for your community! Thank you to everyone who took part! We are very blessed to live among such a caring group!!
CHAPTER L T.T.T.
Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society members met on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Olds United Church of Christ. The meeting opened with the singing of the Sword of Gold.
Roll Call: Five members answered roll call with: "What is your favorite way to spend a day off?"
Minutes of the March 2025 meeting were read by President Shelman and approved as corrected.
Correspondence: President Shelman read the invitation from the Mt. Pleasant chapter concerning their Founder's Day Celebration which is coming up in June. She also highlighted a few articles from the Tidings Newsletter and reminded everyone about the upcoming video/phone meeting April 29 to "meet the team."
The Treasurer's Report was given by Missy Fear.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Camp: President Shelman shared the names of the two girls being sent to camp this summer. She and Nancy McGohan will meet with the girls tomorrow night in Wayland to complete paperwork. The girls shopping day will be scheduled in May. Water bottles and hats were purchased at the convention.
Camp Girls' Gifts: Pat Miller sent a note in reference to graduation cards. President Shelman picked up cards and Missy Fear will get gift cards.
Ways and Means: Karolyn Crawford reported that tip night will take place at the Mt. Pleasant Pizza Ranch on June 2. The group will be at the Washington location on May 12. The Addington Place meal date is set for July 14.
OLD BUSINESS: President Shelman reported that the convention had taken place. Chapter L was signed up to help at the Hospitality table, along with Chapter J. She and Nancy McGohan attended. The resolution passed for the dues to increase from $3 to $5. The 2026 Convention will take place in Des Moines/ Johnston.
NEW BUSINESS: NONE, BILLS FOR PAYMENT AND PROPOSAL OF NAMES FOR MEMBERSHIP: NONE.
ADJOURNMENT: President Shelman thanked those who attended. The next meeting will be Wednesday, May 28 at 7 p.m. at the Olds United Church of Christ. Missy Fear will be hostess.
