The Crawfordsville Lions Club met at 6:30 p.m. March 10, 2025 at the Crawfordsville Community Room with eleven members present for their dinner meeting.
President Scott Davis opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and Lion Larry Fletcher offered prayer.
Following the meal prepared and served by Alice Hochstetler the meeting reconvened and Secretary Rose read the minutes of the February 10, 2025 meeting and they were approved as read. The treasurer's report was given by Treasurer Finke. He reported on the February 22, 2025 Pancake Supper and it was deemed a success.
Old Business: The Club appreciated the help of the local 4-H leaders and the young people who gave of their time and efforts at the Pancake Supper. Also, Roy Felts and other firemen and Community Club members for all their help at this event.
New Business: A letter was read from the Washington County Sheriff's office asking for a donation to support safety for kids in grades K-6. The group voted to make a donation of $111.00, which will support 26 kids. A motion was made, seconded and passed to give a donation to WACO's After Prom Committee. It was also decided to make the club's usual donation to the WACO Scholarship Fund.
President Davis called the club's attention to the fact that it was time to select officers for the 2026 year and asked members to step up and take roles. This will be discussed and decided upon at the next meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned by President Davis.

CRAWFORDSVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT PANCAKE BREAKFAST
The Crawfordsville Fire Department Pancake Breakfast will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the Crawfordsville Fire Department, 105 N. Main Street from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
A free-will offering will be taken. Following the breakfast the annual Easter Egg Hunt will follow at the Crawfordsville Ball Field behind the WACO Elementary School.
This event is hosted by the Crawfordsville Community Club.
