David and Zola Cerka returned recently from a three week vacation that first took them to Dallas, TX to visit David's brother, Frank and family and then onto San Antonio where they spent time with Zola's girlfriend and husband, Al and Charlene Rozinek. On the way home they enjoyed three days in Branson.
The Crawford Township Benefited Fire District joined departments across the country to show their support against the Coronavirus .
On Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 7 p.m. central time the doors opened, lights were on the trucks, a sign of strength and hope for all. Hope for all who work daily in EMS, Fire and Law enforcement to be ready, strength for all who are working around the clock to provide care, those who strive to find the right medicine to help, those in the food/grocery industry to feed those trucking daily to keep everyone going. People across the country were asked to do their part by turning their porch lights on to let everyone know they were fine and have hope.
The Crawfordsville Community Club is taking orders for pies to raise funds to support the Summer Fun Days. Orders need to be in by April 1 and will be delivered on April 9. The pies will be supplied by Pies on Parade in Burlington.
$10 pies are available in Cherry, Pumpkin, Apple, Dutch Apple, Strawberry Rhubarb, Pecan, Blueberry, Chocolate silk, Coconut Cream, Peanut Butter Silk and Cookies and Cream. There are $5 individual meat pies in Beef or Chicken.
