Tim and Kim Hochstetler of Goshen, Ind., became the parents of a son, Bennett Jasper on Sept. 14, 2014 . He weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces His 3-year-old sister, Alena, welcomed him home.
Local grandparents are Joe and Alice Hochstetler of Crawfordsville, and great-grandparents, Harlan and Joretta Hochstetler of Kalona. Maternal grandparents are Brent and Teresa Leichty of Bourban, Ind.

Tim and Kim Hochstetler of Goshen, Ind., became the parents of a son, Bennett Jasper on Sept. 14, 2014 . He weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces His 3-year-old sister, Alena, welcomed him home.
Local grandparents are Joe and Alice Hochstetler of Crawfordsville, and great-grandparents, Harlan and Joretta Hochstetler of Kalona. Maternal grandparents are Brent and Teresa Leichty of Bourban, Ind.
White Cloud Club met Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Ainsworth Four Corners for a salad luncheon at 12:30 p.m. with eight members present.
After a delicious lunch, Joyce Huff, vice president, opened the business meeting with a reading. Roll call was answered by members telling where they had started school. Several members had also graduated from that same school.
Election of officers was held with the present officers re-elected for another year. Mystery Sisters names of the past year were revealed with a token gift and new names were drawn for the upcoming year.
The next meeting will be with Frieda Finke on Nov. 4 at 1:30 p.m.
The Crawfordsville Lions Club met Monday, Oct. 13, at the Crawfordsville Community Room at 6:30 p.m. with 16 members present.
After President Mindy Rochwick called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance, Larry Fletcher gave the opening prayer.
Following a delicious dinner catered by "Off the Beaten Path," the meeting reconvened. The minutes of the Sept. 8 meeting were approved as read. There was no treasurer's report.
Old Business: Treasurer Randy Finke commented on the September Pancake Breakfast as well as the Edgar auction where concessions were sold.
New Business: Future events were discussed: Lions Blood Drive on Dec. 1, Christmas Party on Dec. 8, Christmas Drawing on Dec. 20, and the Winter Pancake Supper on Feb. 14.
Tail Twister Larry Fletcher has not lost his touch as trivia master, enlightening and challenging the club with a lively game of Trivial Pursuit.
The meeting was adjourned by the president.
A reminder was given that the Harvest Supper and Auction will be held at the United Church of Crawfordsville on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 4:30 to 6:45 p.m.
