The regular meeting of the Crawfordsville Lions Club was held Monday evening, March 27, at the Crawfordsville Community Room with 13 members present.
Lion President Billie Jo Rose opened the meeting by leading the Pledge to the Flag and Lion Loree Stogdill gave the invocation.

The regular meeting of the Crawfordsville Lions Club was held Monday evening, March 27, at the Crawfordsville Community Room with 13 members present.
Lion President Billie Jo Rose opened the meeting by leading the Pledge to the Flag and Lion Loree Stogdill gave the invocation.
Minutes of the March 13, meeting were read by secretary pro-tem Lion Randy Finke in the absence of Lion secretary Nancy Love. They were approved as read. He also gave the treasurer?s report and said there is still sausage and bacon that may be purchased. It was also decided to donate a box of sausage to the Back Pack Program.
Lions Arvid Anderson, Larry Love and Billie Jo Rose had attended the 75th Anniversary celebration of the Winfield Lions Club on Saturday evening, March 18.
In unfinished business, the second reading of the slate of officers for 2017-18 were read and voted on. They are: President- Lance Miller; 1st Vice President-Adam Mitchell; 2nd Vice President-Larry Swailes; 3rd Vice President- Mike Massey; Secretary- Nancy Love; Treasurer- Randy Finke; Tail Twister- Larry Fletcher and Lion Tamer- Mike Massey; one-year Directors - Larry Swailes and Mindy Wilson; two-year Directors- Joel Greene and Gene Miller.
A motion was made, seconded and carried to approve these persons for office.
Members were reminded of roadside cleanup Saturday, April 1. Members were also reminded of the District Convention to be held at Lone Tree on April 1 and 2.
It new business it was decided to donate $100 to the Lions Exchange Camp. Lion Luetta Greene announced the Awards night will be May 9 at WACO High School. This will be when the scholarship winners will be announced.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Lion Tamer Larry Fletcher shared some trivia with the group.
There will be a benefit for Pierce Duvall and Carter Patterson on Sunday, April 9 at the West Chester Heritage Building from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Pierce is the 1-year-old son of Nick and Leslie (Blum) DuVall and grandson of Mickey Blum and is fighting liver cancer and Carter is the 4-year-old son of Darian Patteson who is fighting leukemia.
Everyone is reminded of the Pancake Breakfast to be held Saturday, April 8, from 6 - 9 a.m. sponsored by the Crawfordsville Fire Department and the Crawfordsville First Responders.
Following at 9:30 a.m. is the Easter Egg Hunt at the Crawfordsville Ball Field. It is sponsored by the Crawfordsville Community Club and the Crawfordsville Lions Club.
