The White Cloud Club met at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov.1, for a luncheon at El Oasis in Winfield. Frieda Finke was hostess.

President Jolene Colthurst opened the meeting with a reading about Thanksgiving from Ideal Magazine.

Secretary Pauline Richardson did roll call. The club is happy to have a new member, Shannon Sells, join them.

Pauline also read the minutes of the last meeting and gave the treasurer's report, which were approved as read.

New program books were gone over for the coming year.

Those attending were Jolene Colthurst, Frieda Finke, Joyce Huff, Betty Lintz, Pat Miller, Margaret Patterson, Pauline Richardson and Virginia Sands and new member, Shannon Sells.

The next meeting will be a luncheon at 11:30 a.m., Dec. 6, with Jolene Colthurst as hostess. A gift and goodie exchange will be held.

The Fall Soup Supper at the United Church of Crawfordsville will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12. Chili, potato and oyster soup will be featured, along with relishes and cake. There will be a free-will offering.

At 7 p.m. The Dunbar Gospel Singers will entertain.

The Veterans Day Dinner will be held at the Crawfordsville Legion Hall at 12 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 13. Bring a dish to share. Meat will be furnished.
