The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held on April 27, at the Swedish Heritage Museum in Swedesburg. Hostesses were Mary Benson and Betty Molander.
The meeting was opened by President Missy Fear leading the group in the singing of Sword of Gold. Roll call was answered by 22 members stating one item that the girls need to take to camp. Karolyn offered a meditation titled, "Happiness."...

The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held on April 27, at the Swedish Heritage Museum in Swedesburg. Hostesses were Mary Benson and Betty Molander.
The meeting was opened by President Missy Fear leading the group in the singing of Sword of Gold. Roll call was answered by 22 members stating one item that the girls need to take to camp. Karolyn offered a meditation titled, "Happiness."
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as corrected.
Missy shared information from the Tidings mailing. She also read a thank-you from the National T.T.T. Society for the donation sent.
Nancy reported that there will be three girls going to camp from June 14-19. Anyone with carnival items or letters to camp girls should bring them to the next meeting. The carnival will be June 16. Several items were purchased at convention for the girls.
Tammy reported on tip night at a local restaurant. Leah thanked everyone for the plants for sale later in the evening.
Pat reported having sent cards to former campers.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 26, at the Olds Church of Christ. Nancy and Karolyn will be the hostesses and Pat Miller will have meditations. This meeting will also be the camp shower. Missy also encouraged members to invite other ladies to the next two meetings.
There has been mention of having a get-together for all former campers still in the area. Anyone wishing to help with this should contact Missy.
Bills were presented for camper gifts purchased at convention and for mileage.
Help is needed at the Carnival on June 16. Donations will be collected this evening for camper girls.
Missy thanked the hostesses for serving. There being no further business, the meeting was closed by Missy leading the group in the T.T.T. Creed.
Following the business meeting refreshments were served and the ladies reported on the state convention and following that the plant auction was held with members purchasing plants that were brought by other members.
Seventeen were present for the May 4 meeting of the Wyman Community Club. Those attending the 11:30 a.m. luncheon at the Ainsworth Four Corners were: Vivan and Eileen Jennings and Mary Beth Nelson from Columbus Junction; Frieda Finke, Ruth Erwin, Margaret Patterson, Pauline Richardson, Wanda Graber and Billie Jo Rose of Crawfordsville; Wilma Vosburg of Grinnell; Ruth Johnston of Ainsworth and Robert Davis of Wayland; and Al and Adeline Sents, Joann Love, Audrey Finke and Jane Kaczinski, all from Washington.
Vivan treated everyone to German chocolate cake in observance of his May birthday.
The group's next dinner meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 1, at Ainsworth Four Corners.
Senior recognition Sunday will be held on Sunday, May 17, with a reception immediately following worship.
