The regular meeting of Chapter L, T.T.T. Society, met on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at the Olds Church of Christ. The evening started with the initiation of two new members, Tina Shelman and Sheila Allender.
Following the initiation, the business meeting opened with the group singing "Sword of Gold." Meditation was given by Robin McClanahan.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as corrected.

The regular meeting of Chapter L, T.T.T. Society, met on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at the Olds Church of Christ. The evening started with the initiation of two new members, Tina Shelman and Sheila Allender.
Following the initiation, the business meeting opened with the group singing "Sword of Gold." Meditation was given by Robin McClanahan.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as corrected.
The treasurer's report was given and filed for audit. The "Step It Up Program" was explained for new members. The 2015 budget was presented and accepted.
Charity: It was explained to new members that gift cards are given to camper girls to keep in touch.
Ways and Means: Members were reminded to bring two items to sell to the next meeting for the bazaar. It will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 24, at the United Church of Crawfordsville.
Nominating: The committee reported that all of the present officers would retain their positions next year.
Auditing: The books have been audited and found in order.
An order going to the National Office will be made for purple pin holders and new-member books. The group congratulated and thanked Joan Rodgers and Marge Tolander for their 15 year memberships and also, Pat Miller was congratulated for 35 years.
President Missy thanked hostesses Sharon Bright and Jen Slagel.
After the regular meeting, the installation of officers was held.
Following the Installation, the T.T.T. Creed was recited and the meeting was adjourned.
Twenty-one were present for the luncheon meeting of the Wyman Community Club on Monday, Nov. 3, at the Ainsworth Four Corners.
Attending were: Patricia Jones, John Wittrig and Laura McPhail of Winfield; Robert and Lucille Humphreys, Ruth Erwin, Pauline Richardson, Frieda Finke, Fern Clang and Billie Jo Rose of Crawfordsville; Wilma Vosburg of Grinnell; Vivan and Eileen Jennings of Columbus Junction; Ruth Johnston of Ainsworth; and Al and Adeline Sents, Audrey Finke, Peggy Buffington, Jane Kaczinski, Joann Love and Maxine Martin from Washington.
Wilma Vosburg treated everyone to apple crisp in observance of her birthday.
The group's next meeting will be Monday, Dec. 1, at the Ainsworth Four Corners.
Please note there will NOT be a Thanksgiving Eve service at the United Church of Crawfordsville this year.
The United Church of Crawfordsville is once again collecting non-perishable food items and other items, paper, etc., for HACAP. Please be sure and check the dates of foods donated. No outdated items will be accepted.
