The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held Monday, Feb. 27, at the Olds Church of Christ.
President Sharon Bright called the meeting to order and opened the meeting with the group singing the Sword of Gold. Missy Fear gave meditations by reading a poem ?Readings from a Kindergartner? and ?All I Need to Know About Life I learned from a Snowman.?

The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held Monday, Feb. 27, at the Olds Church of Christ.
President Sharon Bright called the meeting to order and opened the meeting with the group singing the Sword of Gold. Missy Fear gave meditations by reading a poem ?Readings from a Kindergartner? and ?All I Need to Know About Life I learned from a Snowman.?
Fifteen members answered roll call by telling their favorite place to eat.
Minutes of the Nov. 21 meeting were read and approved.
Marlys Fear read some correspondence and also reported the Tidbits and Tails Newsletter is being sent via email.
The treasurer?s report was given by Missy Fear and will be filed for audit.
Committee Reports:
Camp ? Nancy McGohan reported she had purchased sleeping bags for camp girls, two camp girls have confirmed that they would like to go to camp and they are waiting for a reply from two others.
Camp Girl Gifts ? Pat Miller reported sending January birthday cards.
Ways and Means ?Tammy Erwin reported the group is scheduled to bus tables at the Mt. Pleasant Pizza Ranch on May 31. Washington Pizza Ranch will also be contacted to see if they can be scheduled as well. Everyone was reminded to get their orders for T-shirts to Leah. The group will discuss at the March meeting if they need or want to sell butter braids and/or cookie dough.
In Old Business: nothing has been heard about grant applications. State Convention will be held April 28 and 29 in Spencer. Marlys and Barb Shelman will be delegates, and Nancy and Lisa Kempf will be alternates. National Convention will be held in Arizona later this year.
New Business: Bills were allowed for gift cards and stamps.
President Bright handed out the 2017 Program Booklet with this year?s meeting schedule.
President Bright thanked Joan Rodgers and Missy Fear for providing refreshments. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned with the closing creed.
The next meeting will be March 27, at the Olds United Church of Christ with Karolyn Crawford and Helen Mullin as hostesses. Joan Rodgers will have devotions.
The Crawfordsville Fire Department will hold a Pancake Breakfast Saturday, April 8, at the Fire Station from 6 to 9 a.m. A Free-will offering will be taken. An Easter Egg Hunt will follow at the Crawfordsville Ball Field.
