The United Church Women met at the United Church of Crawfordsville on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. with 10 members present.

Minutes of the Dec. 9, 2014 meeting were read and approved.
Pat Miller gave the treasurer?s report, which will be filed for audit. Many thank-you notes were received.
Committee Reports:
Dorcas: Will meet for sewing on Monday, Jan. 26.
Cards, Flowers and Gifts: It was reported that many cards had been sent to area and former residents and friends of the church during Christmas, as well as sympathy and get well cards.
Study and Devotions/Mission Outreach: Pauline presented the Call to Prayer and Self-Denial using Peter 4:9-10 and Genesis 18: 1-8, which focused on ?Welcoming Strangers to God?s World.? The Fellowship of the Least Coin was recited in unison and the offering taken.
A ladies pampering event was to be held Friday evening, Jan. 23, at the church beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Volunteers are needed for the Churchwide Gathering of Presbyterian Women, June 18-21, in Minneapolis.
The next regular meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 10. Pat Miller will be the hostess and offer a meditation.

Following a motion to adjourn, members recited the Closing Creed together. President Lowe thanked Donna for being hostess.
Debbie closed with Scripture from Mark 6:30-44, ?Feeding of the 5000,? which is the UCW-theme Scripture for this year.
A reminder that the Crawfordsville Lions Club will hold the annual pancake and sausage supper, Saturday, Feb. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the WACO Elementary School in Crawfordsville. Tickets can be purchased from any Lions member.
