The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held on Wednesday, July 1, at the Olds United Church of Christ.
The meeting began with the camp girls giving their accounts of T.T.T. camp. They answered questions and then sang songs they learned, as well as each sharing their favorite thing about camp.

The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held on Wednesday, July 1, at the Olds United Church of Christ.
The meeting began with the camp girls giving their accounts of T.T.T. camp. They answered questions and then sang songs they learned, as well as each sharing their favorite thing about camp.
Refreshments were then served for the girls and their families and the ladies of T.T.T. When refreshments were finished, the girls left.
The business meeting was called to order by President Missy Fear who led the group in singing "Sword of Gold." Missy also gave meditations by reviewing the accomplishments of one of the T.T.T. Founders Mary Swaney Stuntz.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The treasurer's report was given and will be filed for audit. Lisa reminded all of the "Step It Up" challenge for those who want to participate.
A camp report was given by Barb and Nancy.
The next meeting will be on July 27, 2015 at the Olds United Church of Christ. Marlys and Katherine are the hostesses and Kat will have meditations.
Old Business: The reunion for Camp Girls will be held on Sunday, July 12, from 2 - 3:30 p.m at Olds United Church of Christ. Invitations were sent to 24 campers who graduated from high school this year. Glenda will be in charge of crafts, Lisa, games and Barb is providing a cake. It is hoped that lots of girls, as well as T.T.T. ladies will attend.
National T.T.T. Convention is Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 15-17 at the Marriott West Des Moines. Those who are considering attending need to have their names in by Sept. 15.
Missy thanked Pat King and Joan Roth for the delicious refreshments.
There being no new business, A Founder's Day Ceremony was then held.
The meeting closed with the T.T.T. Creed.
Eldon and Lennis Beichter returned recently from a nine day vacation visiting their son and family, Dustin and Kari Beichter, Khloe and Norah at the naval base in Silverdale, Washington. While there they celebrated Khloe's seventh birthday and Norah's first. Norah also took her first steps while grandpa and grandma were there.
Dustin's family took them on a tour of several small towns in the area, where they visited many shops. Going through Wyoming and Montana they saw a lot of antelope.
Dane and Kari Beichter and daughter, Grace from Chesapeake, Va. left for their home Tuesday after a nine day visit with their parents, Eldon and Lennis Beichter and grandmother, Julia Bletscher. While here the Beichter's camped two nights at Marr Park and enjoyed doing a lot of fishing. They also spent a day at the Amanas.
Remember the church's canoe trip planned for Saturday, July 18. Everyone 16 and older is invited. Younger, if accompanied by an adult. The group will be leaving Ainswoth at 8 a.m. and be on the water until around 5 p.m. Lunch will be provided. There is a cost per person and a cost per family. This includes lunch, canoe and all the gear needed.
You may also bring your own canoe or kayak. Depending on the water level they will be taking the Skunk or Cedar River.
