The White Cloud Club met in Washington at the home of Jolene Colthurst for an 11:30 a.m. luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 6. A delicious Christmas dinner was served.

Attending were Frieda Finke, Joyce Huff, Betty Lintz, Pat Miller, Margaret Patterson, Pauline Richardson and Shannon Sells and the hostess.

President Jolene opened the business meeting with a reading ?Heart at Christmas.? Roll call was answered with everyone telling of their family Christmas plans.

Secretary Pauline read the minutes of the last meeting and gave the treasurer?s report.

Everyone enjoyed exchanging and opening their gifts. A cookie and candy exchange was also held and all went home with a variety of many goodies.

The club will not meet in January. The next meeting is Feb. 7, 2017.

The Lions Club will hold their annual Christmas drawing at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 16. There will be a 4-H bake sale preceding the drawing at noon and Santa will arrive at 12:30 p.m. This event will be held at the Crawfordsville Fire Station and seating is limited, so bring your lawn chairs.

There will be a candlelight Christmas Service at the United Church of Crawfordsville on Christmas Eve, Saturday evening, Dec. 24, beginning at 7 p.m. Regular worship services will be held Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25, at 9 a.m.
