Several adults accompanied the Christ is Alive Youth Group from the United Church of Crawfordsville and the Ainsworth Community Church on a day trip to the Kalahari Water Park at Wisconsin Dells on Saturday, Aug. 26. The CIA will kick off the 2017-2018 year with a Pizza Party on Sunday, Sept. 24, at the United Church of Crawfordsville. Parents are encouraged to attend the first meeting. CIA is going into its third year and growing STRONG! The Youth group is open to ANY sixth to 12th grade students! Plans for the year include paintballing, retreats, missions and more. Weekly Times are: 6-7:30 p.m., and the location will rotate each month between Crawfordsville and Ainsworth North Church Loft, beginning with Crawfordsville in September.
Conformation classes will begin on Sunday, Sept. 24, at Crawfordsville. Adult volunteers are needed to assist Pastor Jason. This is to ensure Safe Sanctuary Policies are followed. Weekly meeting time is 4-5:30 p.m. and will rotate each month, following the CIA schedule.
The Crawfordsville Lions will hold their Installation Dinner at the United Church of Crawfordsville on Monday evening, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m., with District Governor for the S.E. District Nancy Slack.
