Everyone is aware of the snowstorm over the weekend. It shut down almost everything, from nearly every church service to group meetings . The extreme cold kept most of us inside if we didn't have to be out. Therefore, not much happens in this little town. Hopefully, things are back to normal. It is nice to see the sun and warmer temperatures.

Everyone is aware of the snowstorm over the weekend. It shut down almost everything, from nearly every church service to group meetings . The extreme cold kept most of us inside if we didn't have to be out. Therefore, not much happens in this little town. Hopefully, things are back to normal. It is nice to see the sun and warmer temperatures.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, seven ladies braved the cold for a 12:30 p.m. luncheon meeting of the White Cloud Club at Ainsworth Four Corners.
After enjoying lunch, President Lennis Beichter opened the business meeting with some humorous quotes from Our Iowa magazine.
For roll call the ladies brought a valentine to trade. There was no secretary's or treasurer's report. One Secret Sister gift was given.The club's next meeting will be date night at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Sassy's Cafe in Wayland.
Those attending were: Frieda Finke, Pat Miller, Betty Lucas, Jolene Colthurst, Joyce Huff, Lennis Beichter and Pauline Richardson.
