The First District American Legion Auxiliary School of Instruction was held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at the American Legion Hall in Crawfordsville.

District President Mary Sypherd, Ainsworth, was in charge of the meeting.

Setup for the rummage sale at the United Church of Crawfordsville will be Tuesday, Aug. 26, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The fall Rummage Sale will be held Thursday, Aug. 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 30 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Following Saturday's sale, help will be needed to pack up items that are left over.

Remember: No TVs or microwaves. All items must be clean and in good working order.

Items not sold are taken to the Fellowship Cup in Mount Pleasant and sold at their Quarter or More store.

The sale will feature clothing, books, toys, household items, knickknacks and much more and will be offered for a free-will offering.

Everyone plan to attend.
