The Crawfordsville Lions will hold their annual Fall Pancake Breakfast at the Crawfordsville Ball Park on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 7-9:30 a.m.

They will meet at 6 p.m. Friday evening, Sept. 15, at the shack to clean and get ready for the breakfast.

Getting back into the regular routine, United Church Women the group will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall. Joyce Huff will be hostess and have meditations. The World Thank Offering will be taken and election of officers will be held.

Planning ahead, the Parish Council has set the date of Saturday, Oct. 28, for the Harvest Supper and Auction. This is the time to start planning on what you might bring to the sale. It is the church?s big money-making event and helps meet the 2018 budget. David Erwin will once again serve as auctioneer and always makes this a fun event.

The menu will once again feature creamed chicken and biscuits, beef burgers, salads and pies.
