The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held Monday, June 27, at the Olds United Church of Christ.
The meeting was called to order by President Sharon Bright. The meeting opened with the group singing the Sword of Gold. Joan Rodgers gave meditations by reading a story ?Hugs for Women.?
Twelve members answered roll call with their favorite summer activity.

The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held Monday, June 27, at the Olds United Church of Christ.
The meeting was called to order by President Sharon Bright. The meeting opened with the group singing the Sword of Gold. Joan Rodgers gave meditations by reading a story ?Hugs for Women.?
Twelve members answered roll call with their favorite summer activity.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved with no additions or corrections.
Marlys Fear, corresponding secretary, read a ?thank you? from Kim Langley, Iowa State Chapter treasurer for the donation made by Chapter L. ?Thank you?s? were also read from this year?s camp girls. Lisa Kempf gave the treasurer?s report and it will be filed for audit.
Committees: Prior to the meeting three of this year?s camp girls sang songs they learned at camp and told about all the fun activities they did. It sounded as if they had a great time.
Charity didn?t have any activity.
Camp Girls Gifts didn?t have any activity.
Ways and Means ? Money was received from tips at the Washington Pizza Ranch and they also received 10 percent of the buffet sales that haven?t been received yet. The chapter will also see if additional tip nights are available in the future.
Program ? Katherine Zaglen will have meditations for July. Sharon Bright and Sheila Allender will be hostesses. The meeting will be held at the Olds United Church of Christ.
Old Business ? Work is still being done on securing grant applications.
New Business: Camp ? there was much discussion on camp girl items. It was decided to purchase various items that the girls can keep from year to year. It was moved and seconded to send four girls to camp next year. Motion carried.
President Bright thanked Mindy Fitzgibbons for helping her with refreshments. As there was no further business, the meeting adjourned. The next meeting will be Monday, July 25, at the Olds UCC. The meeting adjourned with the Closing Creed, and the Founder?s Day ceremony was performed.
Baja Roach of Cleveland, Georgia, and her son and family, Shane and Marie and Katrina Roach of Cumming, Georgia, visited with Billie Jo Rose, Kevin and Joi this week and with relatives in the Columbus Junction area. Baja and Billie Jo were former classmates.
While here Baja and Billie Jo also had lunch with Barbara McAllister and Erma Jean Turner at Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday. Erma Jean was also a former classmate.
