The Wyman Community Club met Monday, Aug. 1, for lunch at the Ainsworth Four Corners with 13 in attendance.

The Wyman Community Club met Monday, Aug. 1, for lunch at the Ainsworth Four Corners with 13 in attendance.
Those present were Frieda Finke, Ruth Erwin, Carol Steele and Billie Jo Rose of Crawfordsville; John Wittrig and Laura Wittrig of Winfield; Vivan and Eileen Jennings of Columbus Junction, Jane Kaczinski and Al and Adeline Sents of Washington and their daughter, Susie Coriell of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The group will not meet again until Monday, Oct. 3, and will once again meet at the Ainsworth Four Corners at 11:30 a.m.
The Crawfordsville Community Club and the Crawfordsville Lions Club are sponsoring an Ice Cream Social and Outdoor Movie Friday at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 19, at the Crawfordsville Fire Station.
Homemade ice cream with a variety of toppings, desserts and popcorn will be served.
There will be games, water balloons and firetruck rides.
The movie "Sandlot" will begin at approximately 9 p.m.
Bring your own lawn chairs and beverages.
The only cost is to bring a school item or free-will donation. School supplies collected will be donated to the WACO Community Schools to help students in need.
