The meeting started with two of the three campers reporting on camp. They had a great time, and they even sang some songs they had learned at camp. Apparently some of the girls had such a good time they weren't ready to come home and that led to the bus being late getting back. Both said they would go again.
After the girls left, initiation was held welcoming Mindy Dill-Fitzgibbon to the chapter. Shortly after initiation, the regular meeting was held. President Missy Fear opened the meeting with everyone singing "Sword of Gold." Seventeen members answered roll call by telling their favorite color.

The camp committee, Nancy, Barb and JoAnn, reported on campers and that camp was a huge success.
Ways and Means Committee: Leah stated that she had been in contact with the Pizza Ranch in Mount Pleasant to schedule a date to bus tables, but found they were completely booked at this time, so the chapter's name would be placed on a list, and they will contact her when dates become available. Leah had also been in contact with Partners for Profit and got the Butter Braid sales sheets to start selling. The Butter Braids should be available by the July 28 meeting.
New Business: A receipt was turned in for a purchase Marlys made and a motion was made and seconded that she be reimbursed. Motion carried.
It was decided to once again purchase school supplies for the camp girls.
Nancy stated she was going to be in contact with the schools regarding girls who are attending school next year. It will be decided later how many girls will be sent to camp.
Missy reported that Louise Unkrich and Pat King had both celebrated birthdays on July 4. Leah said the Woline family had recently been honored. Someone had also been hospitalized recently, but was now home and a baby girl had been welcomed into the home of Jen, Matt and Gavin Slagel.
The next meeting will be July 28, with Pat King and JoAnn Roth as hostesses. Members will be notified later as to the location. Since there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned by President Missy.
