Floyd and Pauline Richardson attended the wedding of their grandson, James Arthur, to Jessica Loan on Saturday, July 16, at the Chaumette Vineyard and Winery at Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. James is the son of John and Regina Arthur of Iowa City.

Ryan and Carman Davis of Wayland became the parents of a son, Paxton Scott Davis on Monday, July 18, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his 3-year-old sister, Peyton.

Grandparents are Scott and Jeanne Davis of Crawfordsville; Pat and Val Congdon of Atalissa and Roger and Jan Richers of Mt. Union.

Tina Keith of West Liberty, Dick Lauer of Mount Union, and Bob and Lois Richers of Wapello are Payton?s great-grandparents.

It is time for the church to begin thinking about Ingathering Kits. School supplies are now available for what seems to be the cheapest prices. The ?Bag Ladies? started working on making school bags at a recent sewing day.? ?The list of items needed is on the table in the narthex (orange paper). This list includes all the supplies needed for the kits. Be sure to read the instructions as they specify exact sizes and quantities that are needed. The scissors must say ??Blunt?and the notebooks must be ?Wide Lined.? There is a plastic box on the table to place your purchased items and completed kits in.
