The Oct. 23 "Friends and Family Nite" Promanade of Voiture Locale No. 661--40/8 was held at the Jumbo Grill in Mt. Pleasant with 10 members and guests present.

Honored guests, Grande Correspondant Larry Williamson and wife from Plainfield brought greetings from the Grande Voiture.

Other members and guest presents were: Voiture Locale Chef de Gare Dean King of Mt. Pleasant; Ernest Whiting and wife, Jan of Columbus City; Myron Jennings and wife Tana of Winfield; Ron Shumaker of Salem and Correspondant Locale Dean Slater and wife Ruth of Washington.

The annual fall soup supper at the United Church of Crawfordsville will be held Saturday evening, Nov. 8, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Potato, chili and oyster soups will be featured, along with various desserts. A free-will offering will be received. All are welcome.

The Ainsworth Community Church will be attempting a cantata for the holiday season and is inviting Crawfordsville friends to join the choir. The first practice is Monday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Ainsworth Community Church.
