The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held on Monday, Feb. 23, at the United Church of Crawfordsville with Cathy Williams and Robin McClanahan as hostesses, assisted by Pat Miller.
While refreshments were enjoyed prior to the meeting, President Missy Fear shared members with February birthdays ? Marlys Fear and Karolyn Crawford. Ruth Erwin had had a January birthday.

The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held on Monday, Feb. 23, at the United Church of Crawfordsville with Cathy Williams and Robin McClanahan as hostesses, assisted by Pat Miller.
While refreshments were enjoyed prior to the meeting, President Missy Fear shared members with February birthdays ? Marlys Fear and Karolyn Crawford. Ruth Erwin had had a January birthday.
The meeting was opened by President Missy Fear with the singing of Sword of Gold. Ruth Erwin shared meditations with a reading with a "Winter Theme." Fourteen members answered roll call by telling their favorite or memorable song. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The treasurer's report was given and it was stated that "Tip Night" in Mount Pleasant had been a success. Members were reminded of the 2015 Step It Up Challenge.
It was reported that a thank-you note had been received. E-mails from the national office were shared. This year will be the 67th Iowa Convention. A new chapter has been started in Storm Lake.
Leah Woline and Karolyn Crawford reported on the success of Tip Night in Mount Pleasant. Another was scheduled for March 2 in Washington. Members signed up to work at this event.
State Convention information was presented. Delegates are Missy Fear and Lisa Kempf, with alternates Leah Woline and Nancy McGohan. Friday will be an informal day filled with sightseeing, shopping, etc., and the business meeting will be on Saturday. At least four other members will be attending the banquet on Friday evening. The group decided to contribute to the project fund.
The next meeting will be March 23, at the Olds Church of Christ with Sheila Allender and Mindy Fitzgibbon. Sally Anderson will have meditations.
President Missy thanked the hostesses for serving . There being no further business the meeting adjourned with the ladies reciting the T.T. T. Creed.
The Wyman Community Club met Monday, March 2, for lunch at 11:30 a.m. at the Ainsworth Four Corners. Twenty were in attendance including:
Robert and Lucille Humphreys, Frieda Finke, Ruth Erwin, Margaret Patterson, Fern Clang and Billie Jo Rose of Crawfordsville; John Wittrig, Laura McPhail and Pat Jones of Winfield; Wilma Vosburg of Grinnell; Audrey Finke, Peggy Buffington, Joann Love, Jane Kaczinski and Al and Adeline Sents of Washington; Vivan Jennings from Columbus Junction; Robert Davis of Wayland; and Ruth Johnston of Ainsworth.
Audrey, Pat and Jane treated with a St. Patrick's Day cake for their birthdays.
The groups next meeting will be Monday, April 6 at 11:30 a.m. at Ainsworth Four Corners.
