Wilma McAllister recently returned from a two week vacation in which she accompanied her daughter and husband, Steve and Chris Williams of Anamosa, to their cabin at Red Lake, Canada.
The Crawfordsville Community Club and the Crawfordsville Lions are sponsoring an evening of food, live music and community fun on Saturday, July 25, at the Crawfordsville Fire Station. The meal begins at 4:30 p.m and runs until 7 p.m. This is a Free Will donation. At 7 p.m. StraitRun Band starts rockin' and wraps up at 10 p.m. Everyone, please come enjoy the evening!!
The Church is sponsoring a canoe trip on Saturday, July 18, for ages 16 and up (unless accompanied by an adult). The group will leave the Ainsworth Church at 8 a.m. and be on the water until around 5 p.m. Lunch will be provided. There is a fee per person or a fee per family. The fee includes lunch, canoe and all the gear you will need. You may bring your own canoes or kayaks. There is a cost for lunch if you bring your own canoe or kayak.
Please text Pastor Jason Collier at 563-343-3390 if you are planning on going.
Young and old alike will enjoy this casual, relaxing trip. Everyone will have time to swim, float and see the sights. Depending on the water level the Skunk River or Cedar River will be chosen.
Jason will be camping out Friday and Saturday nights at one of the two locations and invites other interested people to camp with him, the location to be determined.
