Everyone is once again reminded of the Fall Rummage Sale sponsored by the United Church Women to be held Thursday, Aug. 31 and Friday, Sept. 1, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 2, from 8 a.m. until noon. Everyone is once again reminded of the Fall Rummage Sale sponsored by the United Church Women to be held Thursday, Aug. 31 and Friday, Sept. 1, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 2, from 8 a.m. until noon. Items can be brought to the church at anytime. They may be left in the northwest room (youth room). No T.V.?s or computers. Please be sure items are clean and in good working order. Donations are greatly appreciated. Everything will be offered the days of the sale for a free-will offering. Items will include clothing of all sizes, household items, books, children?s toys, bedding and much miscellaneous. There is always something for everyone. Come help support this as the proceeds go to missions.
Helen Lease has reported that she has completed over 100 School and Health Kits so far for the Ingathering in November. She asks that everyone be sure to check scissors that they bring are marked ?blunt? and that the Crayola box has only 24 crayons. Nothing else will be accepted.
The Fifth Annual Ice Cream Social and School Supply Drive will be held at the Crawfordsville Fire Station on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m.
Bring a school supply donation and get a root beer float. School supplies will be donated to the WACO Elementary School.
Everyone can stay for the August movie and popcorn beginning at 7 p.m.
This event is sponsored by the Crawfordsville Community Club and the Lions Club.
