The White Cloud Club met Tuesday, July 5, at the home of Carrie Coble with eight ladies present.

Roll call was answered by naming a favorite piece of jewelry. Pauline Richardson read the minutes of the last meeting and gave the treasurer?s report.
Pat Miller read about the old White Cloud School and the names of families who attended. There was much discussion as to where the school had been located.
Pauline thanked everyone for remembering her and Floyd with cards for their 60th wedding anniversary.
The fall tour will be held Sept. 6, and the Oct. 4, meeting will be lunch at Sassy?s in Wayland at 11:30 a.m.
A White Elephant exchange was held. There were amazing gifts. Two Mystery Sister birthday gifts were also received by Margaret Patterson and Jolene Cothurst.
Those attending were Jolene Colthurst, Frieda Finke, Joyce Huff, Betty Lintz, Pat Miller, Margaret Patterson and Pauline Richardson and the hostess, Carrie.
The next meeting will be a family potluck at Betty and Gene Lintz?s home on Sunday, Aug. 7.
It has been reported that the Crawfordsville Fun Days, July 1, and 2 were a huge success. The event began on Friday evening, July1 with the movie ?Field of Dreams? at the fire station.
On Saturday a Burrito Breakfast was hosted by the fire department. Then at 10 a.m. a large parade was enjoyed. Many entrants ranging from Boy Scouts, mini bikes, a unicycle, riders on horseback, old autos, many tractors, floats of all kinds and most important the appearance of the Parade Grand Marshal. Congratulations to much deserved citizen, Helen Lease.
Many games were played, both at the lot uptown and at the ball field; there were water fights, ball games, bouncy houses, redneck golf, a caricaturist, pedal pull, bags tournament, legs and beard contest, and euchre tournament.
Lunch of hot dogs and pork burgers were served by the Lions Club at the ball field and in the evening there was a turkey tenderloin dinner hosted by the 4-H club.
The evening concluded with The 2 Timers Band playing.
Thank you all members of the Crawfordsville Community Club, for all your hard work. It certainly paid off.
