CHAPTER L T.T.T.
Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society members met Monday, July 28, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Olds United Church of Christ. The meeting opened with the singing of the Sword of Gold.
Roll Call was answered with "What was your first job?' by six members.
Minutes: Nancy McGohan read the June 2025 minutes and they were approved as read.
Correspondence: President Shalman shared a handout of fundraising ideas from a powerpoint from other chapters.
The treasurer's report was given by Missy Fear.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Camp and Camp Girls' Gifts: Nothing to report.
Ways and Means: Karolyn Crawford shared fundraising amounts made at Pizza Ranch and Addington Place. She reminded those present that they were scheduled at Mt. Pleasant Pizza Ranch for Wednesday, Aug. 27 and she will schedule a time in Washington for the fall.
OLD BUSINESS: President Shelman informed everyone that the Oct. 28 meeting (a Tuesday) will take place in Wayland with Chapter J at Your Choice Family Restaurant. Members may carpool from Olds at 5:45 p.m. to be there by 6 p.m.
NEW BUSINESS: President Shelman reminded everyone that chapter dues have been raised and are due September 22. The Chapter audit will take place in October.
BILLS FOR PAYMENT and PROPOSAL of NAMES for MEMBERSHIP: None.
ADJOURNMENT: President Shelman thanked those who attended. The next meeting will be Monday, Sept. 22, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Olds United Church of Christ. There is NO meeting in August.
The meeting adjourned with the Closing Creed.
WHITE CLOUD CLUB
White Cloud Club members and their guests met Sunday evening, Aug. 3, 2025 got their annual club picnic at the United Church of Crawfordsville.
President Betty Lintz welcomed the group and led off the evening with a prayer.
Members and their spouses enjoyed a delicious meal. Following the meal a brief business meeting was held to discuss the September meeting. This meeting is generally a club tour. This year the group will go to Altoona to have lunch with Pauline Richardson.
A Secret Sister birthday gift was given to Jolene Colthurst. The remainder of the evening was spent visiting.
Those attending were Carrie and Jay Coble, Jolene and Andy Colthurst, Betty and Gene Lintz, Pat and Gene Miller, Diane Johnston, Margaret Patterson and Virginia Sands.
Virginia Sands was the evening's hostess and provided table decorations and favors.
