SACHA CLUB MEETS

Nine members of Sacha Club met at the Ainsworth Community Church on Monday evening, Sept. 22, 2025.

President Brenda Bean called the meeting to order and Linda McNeil read the minutes of the previous meeting and they were approved as read. Brenda gave the treasurer's report.

New Business: Members signed up to bring cookies for the annual Halloween Hike at Marr Park on October 11. Members should have them there before noon on the 11th. The details for the annual Craft Show were finalized. Members should be at the Highland School on Friday, Oct. 31 for set up. The show will be held Nov. 1 at the school. Program and committee assignments were made out for the coming year.

The program for the evening was making "table tents" for the upcoming craft show.

Refreshments were served by Linda Lord.

Heads up for the UPCOMING HALLOWEEN PARTY

The Crawfordsville Community Club will once again host a Halloween Costume Party, sponsored by the Crawfordsville American Legion and the People Savings Bank on Friday, Oct. 31 at the Crawfordsville Fire Station, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Classes will be judged for ages preschool through 6th grade. There will also be an open class for adults.

Refreshments of Donuts, Milk and Coffee will be served following the contest.

Trick or Treating will follow from 6-8 p.m. Residents are asked to turn their porch lights on if they wish to participate in handing out treats.
