SACHA CLUB MEETS
Members of the Sacha Club met Monday, Oct. 27, 2025 at the Ainsworth Community Church. As members arrived they were given frosting as they were decorating cookies for their annual Craft Show.
The meeting was opened by President Brenda Bean and roll call was answered by 10 members and one guest telling what cookie shape they had made.
Minutes of the September meeting were read and approved with one correction of who donated cookies at the Marr Park Halloween Event.
The Treasurer's report was given. Craft Show reports were given telling that the booths had been secured and the food committee is ready to proceed. Cookie and Raffle tables are all set. Advertising is done and signs will be put out the day of the event. Everyone was reminded to stay and help clean up as many hands make the job easier.
Setup will be Friday, October 31.
A thank-you note was read from Marr Park. Jolene reported she had sent a get-well card to Angela, who recently had an accident.
Refreshments were served by Karen Megchelsen.
CRAWFORDSVILLE COMMUNITY CLUB COSTUME PARTY
The Crawfordsville Community Club held their annual Halloween Costume Contest on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025 at the Crawfordsville Fire Station. This event was well attended with 47 entries into the contest.
Infant category was the largest with nine entries. The couple's category took the overall prize with people dressed as characters from the movie "Home Alone."
Following the contest everyone enjoyed fresh donuts from the kitchen of Alice Hochstetler that were provided by the American Legion. Prize money and goody bags were donated by Peoples Savings Bank.
Lots of fun and unique costumes were shared by all age groups prior to heading out to Trick or Treat.
WHITE CLOUD CLUB
Members of the White Cloud Club met Monday, Nov. 3, 205 at 11 a.m. at the Pizza Ranch in Washington. Present were Jolene Colthurst, Diane Johnston, Betty Lintz, Pat Miller, Margaret Patterson, Virginia Sands and guest, Jenny Stout.
Following lunch, Jolen opened the meeting with a reading, "I Have Found Fall," from an Ideals magazine. New program books were distributed. Roll call was answered by "Naming a Halloween Treat." The secretary's report was read and the treasurer's report given. Jenny accepted an invitation and was welcomed as a new member in the club.
Mystery Sister's names were drawn for the club's new year and dues were paid. Virginia was hostess and provided treats.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025 at Jolene's home at 11:30 a.m. for a Christmas luncheon. There will be a "goody and gift exchange."
The remainder of the time was spent visiting.
