CRAWFORDSVILLE LIONS CLUB

Fourteen members of the Crawfordsville Lions Club met Monday evening, January 26, 2026 at 7 p.m. at the Crawfordsville Community Room.

President Scott Davis opened the meeting leading the Pledge of Allegiance and also offered prayer.

Secretary Billie Jo Rose read the minutes of the January 14 meeting and they were approved as read. Treasurer Randy Finke gave his report.

Old Business: There was further discussion pertaining to the upcoming Pancake Supper on Saturday, February 28. Lion Jenny has been busy making posters for the upcoming event and Lion Rose will take care of the advertising. Lion Joel has been in contact with the WACO Counselor concerning the Club's participation in the WACO scholarship program.

New Business: It was mentioned that a bracket holding a Christmas down by the WACO Elementary School was needing repair. President David mentioned that Club members need to be thinking about filling offices for the 2026-27 year. Anyone who is interested in joining the club is welcome.

There being no further business to come before the Club, President Scott adjourned the meeting.

Members enjoyed refreshments furnished by Lion Joel and Jennie, while being entertained by Tail Twister Finke on various trivia topics.

NOTE FROM CRAWFORDSVILLE CITY CLERK

The City has decided to hire ABC Disposal of Cedar Rapids to be their new trash pick-up. They will be sending out a questionnaire that residents will need to fill out and return to them regarding their services, the bin sizes that are available and an explanation of how many that are needed.

LIONS PANCAKE SUPPER

Mark your calendars for February Pancake Supper to be held on Saturday, February 28. 2026 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Crawfordsville Fire Station. Pancakes, Sausage and Eggs will be served for a Free Will Donation.
