Cousins, Mike and Sue Marsh of Blair, Nebraska, visited overnight on Friday, May 27 with Wilma McAllister.
On Sunday, June 12, the United Church of Crawfordsville will join the Ainsworth Community Church for worship at 10 a.m. at the Washington County Conservation Education Center in the Steinbeck Conference Hall at Marr Park. There is a potluck dinner to follow. Bring a dish to pass. Beverage and table service will be provided by the Ainsworth Community Church.
The United Church of Crawfordsville will be holding Vacation Bible School Monday, Aug. 1, through Friday, Aug. 5, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. This is basic information so you can put the dates and times on your calendar. Becky Kremer is in charge and anyone willing to help is asked to contact her.
The City of Crawfordsville will be celebrating 125 years of incorporation on Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2. This event is sponsored by the Crawfordsville Community Club and the Crawfordsville Lions Club.
They will kick off the event at 9 p.m. on Friday with an outdoor family movie at the fire station.
On Saturday, from 6 to 9 a.m. There will be breakfast at the fire station. There are events nearly every hour with a parade beginning at 10 a.m, water fights, lunch at the ball field, a Leg and Beard contest, softball tournaments, bounce houses,a caricaturist, Redneck Golf, Euchre Tournament, kiddie games, pedal pull, all at the ball field, dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and ending with the 2 Timers Band from 7 to 10 p.m. at the fire station. Put this on your calendar and come join in the fun!
