I'd like to introduce you to Sherri and Dave DeLovely who have decided to become mobile food vendors. They moved to Crawfordsville from Minnesota four years ago. Dave is a native of northern MN and Sherri of Fairfield, IA. She says MN was just too cold!! He is an electrician for a Cedar Rapids firm. Their business is called DeLovely's Mini Donuts. Mini donuts are popular in Minnesota.

They had talked about doing this for a couple of years and finally decided on following their dream. They started looking for a trailer and found one on- line that suited their needs.

Dave basically redid the whole inside to meet regulations. It was a lot of work remodeling, passing inspections, taking classes, scheduling events and getting fairs booked. It has been quite a job getting everything ready and ordering everything and meeting State Codes. Finally it all came together and they are excited to start their new venture.

There donuts will come with a dipping sauce in your choice of strawberry banana, chocolate, vanilla and maple.

The DeLovely's have dates scheduled to be at several different fairs and events throughout the summer and early fall. They also will cater Birthday parties, Anniverseries and Weddings. I have been informed that the annual Spring Clean-up will be Monday, April 27 for the City of Crawfordsville. Have your stuff out by 7 a.m. More information later.
