Crawfordsville news: Anniversary updates and 4-H winners
Doug and Carol Steele observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 20, by first going to Chicago to Wrigley Field and attending the Cubs-Cardinal game with family. Doug and Carol Steele observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 20, by first going to Chicago to Wrigley Field and attending the Cubs-Cardinal game with family. Saturday evening they had dinner at Flannigan?s in Coralville with their children and grandchildren, Carmen Steele of Omaha, Neb., Carrie and Doug Wilkerson and Emma of Center Point and Cory and Katie Steele, Kylee and Clayton of Crawfordsville.
Also, observing their golden wedding anniversary on Friday, July 20, were Ron and Louise Schmitz. They celebrated the end of May with an Alaskan Cruise with several of Ron?s family members. This past week they spent time at the Washington County Fair watching grandchildren?s projects and weekend guests were Scott and Shelly Schmitz, Cody and MacKenzie and fiance, Nate Tiggs, of Baxter; Todd and Laura Schmitz, Clara and Zach of Crawfordsville and Dave and Briana Schlatter of Wayland. Lori and Ben had to miss being with them, as Ben was participating in the State Trap Shoot at Cedar Falls.
Congratulations to all the Crawfordsville area 4-Hers.
Crooked Creek 4-H Club had several purple and blue Ribbon winners from within the Crawfordsville Community at the Washington County Fair.
