Crawfordsville Wednesday Study Club meets in Ainsworth

Seven members of the Crawfordsville Wednesday Study Club met at the Dairy Mart at Ainsworth at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 .
Attending were Ruth Erwin, Rachel Koehler, Debbie Lowe, Pauline Richardson, Joyce Roth, Janice Twinam and Cathy Williams.
While enjoying dairy treats, some business was discussed and a treasurer's report was given. Books were brought by members to be shared.
Debbie shared an article she'd found from the Mediapolis News entitled "Eight Reasons for Opposition to Women Having Pockets", which was taken from the New York Times 110 years ago. She also brought pictures and she and Rachel shared about their recent trip to Alaska in July.
The next meeting will be Oct. 16, 2024 hosted by Cathy.
WACO C.R.O.P. DRIVE
This year's WACO C.R.O.P. Drive 2024 will be taking place October 6-November 3 with a goal of $35,000. (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) provides funds for those who need it most, both around the world and here at home. 25% of the proceeds will be used within the WACO Community,
The WACO Ministerial Association oversees distributions, with funds going to the WACO Food Pantry Program and more. Please give generously when contacted by a C.R.O.P. canvasser.
